...which is what I'm at in nanowrimo. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it stands for National Novel Writer's Month. You sign up on the website online and participate in it with thousands of other novelists throughout the month of November. The goal: to write a 50,000 word novel starting Nov 1 and finishing by midnight Nov 30. I couldn't think of much to write about, so I'm doing kind of a story that goes through the events that happened in the world that my manga is set in prior to when everything happens.

Not much to talk about right now - my mother thinks I'm depressed, and her constantly treating me that way is kind of making me depressed. AP Calc is a stressful class! Stress does not equal depression!
Also, she went through my web browsing history and thinks that dA is a porn site, therefore much limiting whatever time I want to spend on it. Though I did set firefox to erase all browsing history upon closure. It was annoying to have to write down my usernames and passwords to everything because it will no longer remember it for me, but it's worth the sacrifice. Really, I think that I will only be allowed on the internet to do my spanish homework (which we have online + verb conjugaters) and check e-mail. Most likely with my mom looking over my shoulder the entire time. Joy.

I'm still feeling rather depressed about my level of skill in drawing, so I don't think that I'll feel comfortable enough to put anything like that up for a long while yet (between nanowrimo, my mom, and school, I just don't have time to draw anymore) but I may be putting up photomanipulations, excerpts from my nanowrimo novel, and some photography.

On a brighter note, last weekend I went up to my cabin and we got to take Yolanda along! For those of you wondering "Who's Yolanda?" she was my host sister during the family stay on the Spain trip I went on this summer. But this year, she is an exchange student in this town in the middle of nowhere about an hour north of where I live, which made it easy for us to pick her up on our way to Lake Superior.

So yeah, that's my life right now I guess. I got the star trek dvd, hooray! btw, D. Gray-man is <3
