So...I'm back from Spain! I've just forgotten to update my journal for the last couple of weeks. Spain was absolutely amazing! We went to Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Sevilla, Granada, and Valencia. Sevilla was probably my favorite city that we visited as a big group. We saw many interesting and awesome historical sights in all these cities as well as fun things such as the flamenco that we went to in Granada. Another highlight of the trip as a big group for me was definitely seeing the painting Guernica by Picasso while in el Museo de Reina Sofia in Madrid. My history teacher talked about that painting a lot in class and it was so cool to be able to see it in person, it was huge! But my favorite part of the trip as a whole was absolutely the family stay! I was really nervous when we were getting off the bus to meet our host families, but it was the highlight of my life! My host sister, Yolanda, was really fun and nice and the rest of her family was a blast to be around as well! The best part is that this school year she's going to be an exchange student in a city only an hour's drive away from where I live!

Just two days after I got back from Spain, I was whisked off up to our cabin by my parents. Nothing to report there, it was same old same old. Ten mile hikes and dinner at the crappy restaurant.

A few days after that I was dragged to my aunt's house (at least I got to do a sleepover with ~Midnighterdes8 before)

Now tomorrow I'm leaving to be a counselor at church camp...hooray! Except that i'm not even Christian....I'll raise the best cabin of little atheists that there ever was!

I also got onto Omegle after hearing about it from Middy, and I had a blast. My conversational topics seem to scare some people away though. The first guy I talked to thought that I was totally serious, it was pretty funny! Whoever the crackhead was that said you shouldn't talk to strangers needed his brain examined. Here's a couple of my short conversations:

You: so.....do you like cheese?
Stranger: no
You: *gasp*
Stranger: what does gasp mean
Stranger: i dont know
You: it means that I gasped in horror
You: at the fact you don't like cheese
Stranger: why do you care about that
You: because cheese is the second most important food that exists in this world!
Stranger: ohh sorry i dont know that
You: the first most important is pigeons
Stranger: no first is egg
Stranger: i think
You: pigeons are easy to lure in and catch! Then you roast and eat them
You: very tasty
Stranger: i never eat them
Stranger: it is disgusting
You: pigeon-hater
